Using
Alloyqa

• Download and open Alloyqa for Mac.
• Create an account or sign in.
• Connect GitHub and choose a repository.
• Create your first Task.
• Choose This computer or Alloyqa Cloud for the work.
• For This computer, connect Codex or Claude Code on your Mac when prompted.

Give a Task to Alloyqa or assign it to a teammate. Alloyqa Tasks move from Working to Ready for review, then to Done when you complete the work.

• This computer runs the Task on your Mac using the coding agent you connect there.
• Alloyqa Cloud runs the Task remotely and can continue when your Mac is closed.
• Review the Task and pull request when work is ready.
• Use Give feedback to request a focused update, Retry to run it again, or Cancel to stop work in progress.

• Review the change and its pull request before merging.
• Open a Preview when one is available for the repository.
• Give feedback when the change needs another pass.
• Merge a reviewed pull request when you are ready.
• Use Ship Together to prepare several ready Tasks as one release.

A Goal gives related work a shared outcome. Add human and Alloyqa Tasks under the same Goal to keep progress visible in one place.

• Use Ideas to capture work that is not ready to become a Task yet.
• Use Reviews to keep discussion and decisions close to the work.

Choose the execution mode that fits the work. This computer uses your Mac and the Codex or Claude Code connection you choose there. Alloyqa Cloud uses Alloyqa-managed Cloud execution and prepaid Cloud credits.

• Local Codex and Claude Code authentication stays with their tools on your Mac.
• Cloud work does not use your local coding-agent subscription or session.

Codex is not connected

Connect Codex on this Mac from setup or your Account settings before assigning work to Alloyqa.

Claude Code is not connected

Install Claude Code, then connect it from Alloyqa on this Mac. Claude Code manages its own local sign-in.

Not enough Cloud credits

Add Cloud credits from Billing before starting a Cloud Task. Credits apply to Alloyqa-managed Cloud execution, not This computer.

A repository is not mapped locally

When needed, Alloyqa asks you to select a matching local repository. Local validation can also use an Alloyqa-managed temporary checkout.

A Task was interrupted

Keep your Mac and Alloyqa open while a This computer Task is running. Cloud Tasks continue remotely, but can still be interrupted if their execution fails. Open the Task for details, then retry when you are ready.

GitHub access or a Task failed

Reconnect GitHub or update its repository access if needed. Use the Task details to review the failure and retry after resolving the issue.
