Alloyqa vs Codex Cloud

Coding Tasks, with a
workspace around them.

AlloyqaUpdated November 5, 20265 sections

Both products run coding work in the Cloud. Here is how Alloyqa approaches the workflow around that execution.

01

A shared foundation

Both Alloyqa and Codex Cloud run coding tasks in the cloud and let you review the results. Alloyqa keeps that cloud execution inside a task-first workspace built around the handoff to a pull request.

02

Where Alloyqa differs

Less setup

Connect GitHub, add your AI provider, and create a Task. Alloyqa handles the isolated Cloud execution environment.

Choose your models

Use your own OpenAI, OpenRouter, Gemini, or Ollama Cloud API key and choose compatible models, not just OpenAI models.

Keep work together

Manage Projects, Ideas, and Tasks in one place. Keep context with the work, assign it to teammates or agents, and review pull requests.

03

Provider and billing

Alloyqa uses the Codex-based coding harness with your connected provider key. Model usage is billed through OpenAI, OpenRouter, Gemini, or Ollama Cloud, while your Alloyqa Cloud subscription covers cloud execution.

Review the result

Create a Task, let Alloyqa work while you are away, then return to the completed branch and pull request.

  • Review the change on the web or in the macOS app.
  • Leave feedback when the change needs another pass.
  • Merge the pull request when you are ready.
